We compared five loan servicers: PNC, DCCU, Ameris, Fairway, and Truth & Lending (Laura). It’s challenging to compare all the options directly, but after a thorough review - considering not just interest rates, but also PMI, float-down opportunities, rate matching, origination fees, availability, refinancing costs, and closing timelines - Laura stood out as the best choice. Finances need to be thrown into the proper order and your credit needs to show your true intent. David and his team help me gather all my information. The team was on top of the process and guided me through every step. It's very difficult still in today's time for a self-employed female who is part of an older age set to get the ball rolling. I was referred to Mark by a friend. He was the first person I connected with, before a realtor or anyone else involved in the home buying process. After chatting with him, he was able to recommend a realtor that he thought my husband and I would work well with based on our personalities and communication style. Had to drop a review here for my lender -- Laura Witte! A couple of years ago I was a first time home-buyer, and Laura patiently made sure I understood each part of the process to secure my loan. She worked closely with me to confirm my budget made sense for my mortgage, and was very timely in her responses for any questions I had. I truly believe Laura goes above and beyond and offers this white-glove experience because she sees each borrower as more than just a client, but a potential neighbor and friend. Fast forward two years, and I had some tax questions regarding my mortgage. Laura immediately responded and actually hopped on a conference call with myself and the county Tax Commissioner office to resolve the issue. I can't say thank you enough for Laura's compassionate customer service, kindness, and excellence in lending!
